LEADING EDGE Bakery and Food Service
Journal was first Published in June 1996. From it's humble beginnings it is circulated in the bakery industry across Australia and New Zealand.
Sent initially as a marketing concept to readers free of charge, annual subscription fees
to LEADING EDGE were introduced and the number of subscribers has risen substantially
since, with all market segments represented.
Since its inception LEADING EDGE has established strategic alliances
with the Associations, TAFE colleges, Universities and Research Centres of
the industry. During this time the number of advertisers has increased
substantially and LEADING EDGE continues to develop relationships with small
and large advertisers who see the publication as the vehicle to reach their
target market.
Two major contributing factors to the success of LEADING EDGE are the ongoing development
of arguably the largest database in this industry, and the establishment of the LEADING
EDGE Website.
LEADING EDGE is proud to be a sponsor /
supporter of major bakery events in Australia such as Bakery Australia,
Australian Artisan Baking Cup, National Baking Competition,
Bake
Skills, The Great Aussie Meat Pie Competition, iba, Sigep, European, FSA
EXPO and the LA Judge Awards.
LEADING EDGE has also further increased market awareness by exhibiting at
Regular Industry Trade Shows. This
has augmented our strong profile and market position.
