The La-Coupe Down Under was conceptualized with the express aim to:

and competitive forum for trade Bakers between 25 to 55 years of age.

stature and status of professional trade Bakers throughout Australia and
to profile Artisan Baking skills, techniques and products as an emerging
alternative Baking career option.

Launch and
create a platform for communication and learning amongst Home Bakers,
Alchemists, Bakers and Pastrycooks, emerging and established Artisan
Bakers.

Create
opportunities and be the vehicle for Australian Artisan Bakers to one
day compete against the rest of the world in the Coupe du Monde de lu
Boulengerie, Bakery World Cup.

Continue to
be a biennial event and evolve to reflect the professional Baking
progress, emerging international trends of Artisan Baking and promote
advancements in the Artisan Baking world for future generations of
Australian Bakers.
