Cockles
Ever popular, this old favorite is appealing with its
two sections sandwiched together with Apricot or Raspberry Jam and dusted with Icing
Sugar. This batch is suitable for a 20 litre bowl.
Make-up Procedure:With Piping Bag and 18mm plain tube, pipe
out on to silicone papered or greased trays.
Baking: 190º C for approximately
15 minutes using low bottom heat.
Yield: Approximately 600
units x 15grams.
Finishing Instructions: When
baked and cool, sandwich together with Apricot or Raspberry Jam, Nougat or Chocolate
Flavoured Icing, and dust lightly with Icing Sugar.
Freezing: This recipe is
unsuitable for freezing.
