German Delight

 

 

Method:

1. Make 4 x 20cm disks, of puff pastry. Bake them well.

2. Spread or pipe Crella Caramel over the first disk.

3. Sprinkle some crushed walnut pieces over it.

4. Continue to add the disks and spread with caramel until the last disk. You may substitute a layer of caramel with fresh cream or  

    custard if you wish.

5. Use a palette knife to fill in the edges and top with a thin layer of caramel.

6. Cover the complete cake with crushed walnuts or crushed puff pastry or alternatively decorate the top with cream, chocolate,

    apricot jam or fondant.
